Unlike coffee, which releases caffeine rapidly leading to adrenaline spikes, jitters, and a sudden crash, matcha contains high concentrations of L-Theanine. This slows caffeine absorption, releasing steady alert energy over 4 to 6 hours without adrenaline crashes.

Frequently Asked Questions.

Ceremonial grade matcha is made from the youngest, first-harvest leaves in Spring, stone-ground into a fine powder. It has a sweet, delicate flavor best enjoyed whisked with pure hot water. Latte blend (premium culinary grade) is harvested slightly later, offering a stronger, full-bodied green tea profile that holds its flavor when paired with milk and natural sweeteners.
A standard serving (1.5g or 1/2 tsp) of xmatcha contains approximately 35mg to 45mg of caffeine. In comparison, a cup of coffee has around 95mg. However, because of the high concentration of L-Theanine in matcha, this caffeine is absorbed slowly, resulting in a sustained focus without jitters.
Matcha is highly sensitive to light, oxygen, and heat. Once opened, seal the tin tightly and store it in your refrigerator. Use it within 2-3 months of opening for optimal vibrant green color and fresh umami flavor.
Yes, absolutely. Our matcha is USDA organic certified and rigorously tested by third-party laboratories in Japan and the US for agricultural chemical residues, radiation, and heavy metal contaminants. Quality, safety, and purity are our highest priorities.
